Director - People Consultant
We're looking for a Director, People Consultants to help deliver an exceptional experience to our Managers, Directors and internal support stakeholders. As a part of the People Experience Team, you’ll be responsible for supporting delivery of people programs, driving talent strategies and ensuring alignment with other People Team Centers of Excellence and cross functional partners to provide HR support and ensure consistency across stakeholder’s team operations, HR practices, and Pinterest’s values.
Additionally, this role maintains a close partnership with HR Business Partners to build world-class people initiatives aligned with Pinterest's mission, vision, and values. This is a full time, remote eligible position.
What you’ll do:
Serve as a trusted advisor to Managers and Directors, advising on complex team dynamics and advanced HR strategies to cultivate a high-performance, inclusive culture;
Manage a team of People Consultants handling a variety of HR support requests and leveraging our expanded shared-services model;
Drive cross-functional and stakeholder engagement to support business strategies and elevate organizational outcomes;
Utilize data analytics and insights to diagnose systemic issues and design innovative, impactful solutions; and
Lead change management initiatives, ensuring effective communication, leadership alignment, and resolution of complex escalations.
What we’re looking for:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a lead or HR consulting role.
Skills:
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and build trust quickly.
Demonstrated experience in driving talent management and strategic change management initiatives.
Proficient in leveraging advanced HR analytics for strategic decision-making.
