Job Description
Are you a visionary marketing leader who thrives on driving change, building impactful partnerships, and delivering commercial success? We’re seeking a dynamic Director of Strategic Marketing to lead transformative marketing strategies across a diverse portfolio of ~90 online postgraduate programs in collaboration with over 10 leading Australian university partners.
In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll champion the student experience, shaping marketing strategy and performance to win hearts and minds at every stage of the journey. You’ll be responsible for the commercial success of our partnerships through bold brand positioning, compelling B2C strategies (and future B2B opportunities), and high-impact, emotive campaigns that fuel growth.
You’ll lead a talented team of ~14 marketers, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. With deep expertise in brand and digital marketing, AI-enabled technologies, and emerging trends, you’ll drive innovation and performance at scale.
Success in this role hinges on your ability to influence and build trusted relationships—across university partners, internal teams, and external agencies—while aligning marketing efforts to our broader growth strategy.

Qualifications
Education:
Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields.
Postgraduate education highly desirable
Experience:
Minimum 15 years experience in marketing roles, ideally in enterprise or service based sales industries.
Experience with high-commitment complex buying journeys is highly desirable with understanding of levers across the full consumer lifecycle.
Experience driving change through an organisation or team to deliver improved outcomes.
Proven experience running a portfolio or marketing function to drive growth.
Strong influencing skills with the ability to drive business focussed outcomes internally and externally.
Experience leading and developing high-performing teams and navigating matrixed stakeholder environments.
Strong commercial acumen with a history of delivering measurable business results.
Technical:
Leans into analytics and data and is highly confident using data and insights to inform strategy, optimise performance, and drive continuous improvement.
Strong understanding of marketing platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, CRM, media dashboards).
Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Very strong presentation and communication skills.
Special Requirements:
Attendance at on-campus or in-person meetings as required.
Attendance at student events and video production shoots as required, which may occur out of business hours.
Willingness to travel interstate for any of the above as required.
