 Position Summary:  

The Director of Business Applications, AMER provides the strategic vision and tactical direction of Professional Service Business Application offerings, ensuring alignment with the broader Partner Services organization with Pax8, both regionally and globally. They design new technical offers for partners, lead the technical and operational growth of the team, resource planning and budgeting, and partner with the organization to connect initiatives. The Director demands technical expertise and translates that into business-centered initiatives. They manage multiple loosely connected technical areas of practice while still having a hand in the tactical responsibilities. Critically, they build an empower a team of leaders and frontline consultants committed to delivering high-quality technical and consultative implementations of Microsoft Business Applications. 

Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to): 

  • Oversee strategic and tactical vision of Pax8 Professional Services, particularly focused on Dynamics 365 offerings. 

  • Develop new Dynamics 365 Business Application service offerings to support our partner base.

  • Partner with Pax8 Service Operations, Academy, and other Pax8 business units, regionally and globally.

  • Collaborate with Pax8 Channel, Microsoft development team, Sales, and other partner organizations to ensure Pax8 Pro Serve is advancing in alignment.

  • Manage Professional Service Business Application resourcing, budget, and headcount.

  • Identify and direct Service Metrics.

  • Develop and train Service Leaders.

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies: 

  • At least five (5) years implementing and leading professional services, four (4) of which are in Business Applications. 

  • At least three (3) years of experience in people leadership. 

  • Significant knowledge of with core service offerings of Microsoft Business Central and Sales Professional. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and ServiceNow (or other team project management platforms). 

  • Prior experience leading downline leaders/managers is a plus. 

  • Ability to set and implement standards, and work with downline leaders to drive adherence to standards. 

  • Strong desire and ability to drive the growth and success of downline team members. 

  • Ability to prioritize the needs of multiple stakeholders. 

  • Calm demeanor and demonstrated experience navigating the needs of disparate teams. 

  • A self-motivated, strategic creative worker with a drive for executional excellence. 

  • Flexible and comfortable working on multiple initiatives.   

  • Ability to adjust to an evolving landscape with short notice. 

  • Highly organized, and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask. 

  • Creative thinker and holistic problem solver—always looking beyond the available options when up against roadblocks. 

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external teams. 

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional organization and demonstrate team leadership skills. 

  • Experience learning and navigating within a high-growth and fast-paced environment. 

  • Ability to develop others to help meet career goals and organizational objectives. 

  • Ability to influence and motivate others to action by driving vision and purpose. 

  • Prior experience with conflict resolution

Required Education & Certifications: 

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience. 

  • Finance/Business qualification desirable. 

  • Microsoft MB800 and PL900 certifications required. 

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $135,000/yr to $170,000/yr or more depending on experience.
