Director of Behavioral Health
Position Overview: We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Behavioral Health to lead care delivery and educational development within our collaborative care and B2B business lines. The ideal candidate will hold an advanced degree in a mental health field (with strong preference for start-up experience) and will be passionate about leveraging their leadership background in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
As part of the role this individual will be responsible for driving quality, managing a large team of Triplemoon clinicians, developing evidence based treatment protocols and curriculum, and deepening partnerships with B2B clients. Primary responsibilities will include:
Developing a team of distinctive behavioral healthcare managers including hiring, managing and training large virtual teams.
Partnering with the Chief Clinical Officer to establish a strategic vision for the internal and external clinical care pathways and patient education developed by Triplemoon.
Develop and implement internal clinical and educational initiatives such as treatment protocols critical training.
Oversight of compliance with regulatory requirements.
Monitoring and improving quality and adherence to polices and procedures.
Working in partnership with Triplemoon technology and product leaders to bring the best of technology into our clinical and care delivery processes.
Participating in broader strategic initiatives as part of the leadership team
Ability to travel occasionally both for team events, industry events and/or client relationship management.
Qualifications: Strong candidates will be highly visionary “systems-thinkers” with past behavioral health experience working in a fast-paced and highly collaborative start-up environment. Ideal candidates will have the below qualifications:
Bachelor's and advanced degree in a Mental Health field (e.g., LPC, LCSW, PhD)
5+ years in a clinical leadership/management role
Past pediatric and/or primary care mental health experience
Experience managing large (virtual) clinical teams
Strong relationship management skills
Strong first-principles problem solving skills and belief that “no task is too small”
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience implementing (or creating) structured care protocols
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proven record of successful people management and leadership
Ability to quickly learn and utilize a variety of technologies and applications (e.g., various medical record systems, Asana, Google sheets, excel, and other platforms)
Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts
Independently motivated with excellent time management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to evolving priorities
Optional: past experience working with integrated behavioral health models
