Director - Member Acquisition
About the Role
The Director, Member Acquisition is a critical marketing leader responsible for driving Eleanor Health’s growth through new member acquisition. This role oversees all performance marketing channels, manages the member acquisition budget, and ensures that strategies and tactics are grounded in data-driven, member-centric insights. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, deep expertise in digital acquisition channels, and strategic leadership to scale Eleanor Health’s impact.
What You'll Do
Lead New Member Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed member acquisition goals across all markets.
Performance Channel Management: Own all acquisition channels, including paid search, paid social, SEO, digital OOH, and more.
Team Development & Leadership: Manage and grow a team of high performing, energized, and results-oriented growth marketers.
Budget Ownership: Manage the member acquisition budget to maximize ROI while ensuring efficient spend allocation across channels.
Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze campaign performance, identify trends, and continuously optimize acquisition strategies to lower cost per acquisition (CPA) and improve conversion rates.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Growth, Clinical Operations, and Tech teams to align acquisition efforts with business goals and overall member experience.
Vendor & Agency Oversight: Manage external partners, agencies, and technology vendors to ensure accountability and performance against KPIs.
Reporting & Insights: Deliver regular performance reports and actionable insights to the executive team; use data to inform strategic decisions.
Compliance & Brand Alignment: Ensure all acquisition efforts adhere to healthcare marketing compliance standards and Eleanor Health brand guidelines.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
8+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on customer acquisition, growth marketing, or performance marketing.
Proven track record of managing significant acquisition budgets and delivering measurable growth.
Deep expertise in digital channels, including paid media, SEO, and digital OOH.
Strong analytical skills and experience with performance analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Looker, Tableau).
Exceptional leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred:
Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or highly regulated industries.
Experience in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.
Compensation & Benefits
The target annual compensation range for this position is $150,000-170,000. The actual compensation offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
