Responsibilities
Continue to build and operate a world class Ecosystem business at GitLab, supported by strong relationships with Cloud Partners, GSIs, Resellers, Distributors, and OEM partners
Act as an owner of the details behind GitLab’s global Ecosystem business: systems, operations, processes, data, and projects
Develop methods, processes, systems and tools to appropriately support all of partner Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success efforts across GitLab
Drive cross-functional programs and initiatives to support scaling of the business and integrate the partner ecosystem across all corners of the company
Operate all channel partner incentive programs and ensure adherence to policies. Serve as a thought leader alongside Partner Programs and Strategy teams to develop iterations of partner incentive models.
Assist in the development and rollout of partner-facing enablement practices to improve our partners’ Sales and Marketing effectiveness and efficiency
Act as a liaison to partner (seller) enablement functions to drive training and enablement priorities, content and methods
Drive alignment with Deal Desk, Quote to Cash, and Sales Operations teams regarding vision and operational efficiencies to support durable business growth
Exhibit strong understanding of Ecosystem (seller) compensation models and demonstrate ability to assist with inquiries and design
Requirements
BA/BS degree
Demonstrated progressive relevant experience and a solid understanding of Ecosystem operations, programs, strategy and analytics
Experience working directly with partners on deal structures, operations, partner account management activities, and enablement
Strong analytical abilities; able to tell compelling stories with data that inform business decision making
Managed and/or implemented partner and channels specific tools (ex: PRM)
Deep SFDC (or similar CRM) expertise and knowledge of enterprise SaaS and/or licensing tools
Excellent problem solving, project management, interpersonal and organizational skills; Able to prioritize multiple projects and keep all afloat simultaneously
SaaS and B2B experience preferred
Interest in GitLab, and open source software

The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of listed locations only. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. See more information on our benefits and equity. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary.
California/Colorado/Hawaii/New Jersey/New York/Washington/DC/Illinois/Minnesota pay range
$153,000—$287,000 USD
