Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Contribute to the overarching NA Digital Marketing strategy.

  • Manages the execution of digital strategy for multiple brands/business units within the United States, including both ongoing daily activities and mission critical strategic initiatives. 

  • Develop a roadmap to increase customer engagement and experiences with assigned brands:

  • Establish systematic marketing approaches based on understanding of customer segments, defining and prioritizing core segments and identifying new digital marketing touch points.

  • Take the lead on bringing to light new insights and innovative approaches to improve  the customers experience with our brands using digital& Non-Personal Promotion (NPP) that includes digital channels.

  • Tech Stack & Innovation Identify digital trends and technologies.

  • Own the digital marketing tech ecosystem (e.g., Veeva CRM, Salesforce, Google Analytics, CDPs).

  • Identify digital trends and new digital tools to enhance targeting, engagement, and measurement.

  • Lead omnichannel pilots and scale high-performing initiatives.

  • Monitor the success metrics and leverage learning for optimization of digital marketing programs across the entire digital ecosystem.

  • Lead and manage digital marketing activity for assigned brands including, but not limited to, CRM, SEO, SEM, and social media programs.

  • Compliance & Governance.

  • Collaborate closely with regulatory, legal, and medical review teams to ensure all digital activity meets promotional and data privacy standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).

  • Champion proper consent management and opt-in protocols across channels.

  • Build strong working relationships with various disciplines that comprise and support digital marketing. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and realize initiatives.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred, and 5-7 years of relevant experience in related industry (pharmaceutical or consumer products). However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. 

  • Experience leading and establishing new digital, social and omnichannel marketing programs.

  • Must possess knowledge of terms and concepts used in digital marketing, media planning and performance monitoring. Familiar with web analytics (Google Analytics).

  • Experience with pharmaceutical marketing and medical-legal reviews desired.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint necessary.

  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate customer insight into actionable ideas that drive business objectives.

  • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset.  Eagerness, enthusiasm and passion to drive new capabilities.

  • Demonstrated initiative, strong leadership skills.

  • Strategic influencing skills, ability to align support for new initiatives across commercial partners and cross-functional teams.

  • Strong project management and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications and presentation skills.

  • Must be comfortable working productively with limited guidance and in a matrixed organization.

  • Excellent written and presentation skills.

  • Responsible for leading a team of employees and external temporary workers and external vendors.

  • Position functions autonomously.

  • Ability to read and interpret comprehensive and intricate research documents.  Ability to work with executives and communicate abstract concepts.  Ability to present to a high level of the organization and groups outside of the organization. Working knowledge of web development terminology and digital marketing production terms.

  • Ability to solve equations, apply technical mathematical concepts, and perform complex computations. 

  • Ability to solve problems with complex variables through non-standardized solutions that require independent judgment and analysis.  Ability to draw inferences and use deductive reasoning with no prescribed procedures to solve complex problems.

  • Typically sitting at a desk or table.  Intermittently sitting, standing, walking or stooping.  Periodic travel is required.

  • Normal office situation.

  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $112,000 - $236,000.
