We are looking for an experienced Director of Demand Marketing to join the dscout team and build out a demand marketing function for a platform that is beloved by researchers around the world. In this role, you’ll report to our Vice President of Marketing and you’ll partner directly with members across our organization -- everyone from the CEO to key members of the Sales, RevOps, Customer Success and Product teams. To be successful in this role, you should be a creative and a quantitative thinker who isn’t afraid to iterate quickly.

This role is a great fit for a demand marketer who is comfortable being a player + coach and wants to help a lean marketing team grow and level up. We produce some of the industry’s most beloved content, we just need a leader to help build out our capabilities around demand generation and performance marketing. what you will do at dscout:

  • Lead the development and execution of dscout’s demand generation and digital marketing strategy, including inbound acquisition and targeted account-based strategies, to maximize pipeline creation and revenue

  • Develop compelling multi-channel marketing programs across display, social, email, website, and 3rd party 

  • Build, manage and support a high-performing team (some in-house, some contract/agency) of digital, event, content, community and marketing operations experts 

  • Understand where UX research professionals are getting their information today and build partnerships, co-marketing, and sponsorship opportunities reach them and capture new leads into the database

  • Maintain a constant cadence of testing and analysis, and translate findings into actionable changes for the broader go-to-market team.

  • Track and analyze campaign KPIs and metrics, primarily to determine ROI

  • Propose and modify appropriate budgets to support key initiatives

  • Work with VP of Marketing, Sales, and Rev Ops team to forecast, measure, analyze and report the impact of demand creation programs and campaigns on MQL, SQL, sales pipeline, revenue, and sales cycle length

what you will bring to dscout:

  • 6+ years of proven experience in demand marketing with direct experience in B2B SaaS companies 

  • Experience building and managing a team of marketers while being hands on yourself

  • Detail-oriented project management skills, balanced with the ability to think strategically and prioritize multiple competing projects

  • Strong communication skills: confident and articulate in presenting to internal stakeholders and external audiences

  • Deep analytical orientation and  experience using campaign reporting and analysis tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and Google Analytics

  • Ability to lead complex projects cross-functionally, influence business partners, and provide recommendations in order to drive decisions
