About the role:

This Director, Business Development role will focus on inbound and outbound prospecting, qualifying, and building a pipeline for Account Executives worldwide. This Director will have strategic and operational accountability for the development and growth of the top of the sales funnel. They will partner closely with Regional Sales Leaders and Account Executives. This position reports to the VP, Go-To-Market Operations.

Experience:

  • 10+ years managing teams that establish first contact with potential new clients

  • Drive to develop new business in new and existing accounts

  • Ability to lead in the moment; providing immediate feedback and mentoring with the appropriate approach

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to synthesize complex business challenges and create clear solutions and messages for audiences at various levels of sophistication

  • Servant leader and teammate, able to handle ambiguity, anticipate and react to changes in a constantly evolving environment

  • Consistent record of outstanding success in sales, marketing, business development, top of the funnel, and leadership

  • Strong track record of recruiting, training/developing and retaining hard-working business development talent

  • Ability to listen, think logically, strategically, and tactically to solve complex problems

  • Strong operational and analytical abilities

What you will Own:

  • Leadership and execution of effective prospecting techniques to identify and qualify potential new customers and partners

  • Attending and presenting at sales and marketing reviews and aligning Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to company’s Go-To-Market motion
