We currently have an opening for a Design Application Specialist to join our Design Technology Group (DTG) with the option to work from any Pennoni Office or to work remotely. This role will be primarily responsible for supporting our Transportation (Roadway, Bridge, Traffic, Hydrology) and Survey teams that use Bentley and Autodesk software. This position includes supporting end users, training, developing standards content and documentation.

Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the stable operation of in-house CAD and engineering software
- Support, develop, install, configure, maintain, and optimize applications across the enterprise
- Analyze and resolve user issues
- Develop and enforce company-wide CAD standards, policies, procedures including recommending strategies for document management, revision control, and archival
- Formulate teaching materials and conduct training sessions to propagate CAD knowledge throughout the organization
- Research new and emerging CAD technologies
- Migration of projects to newer versions of CAD or engineering applications
- Excellent understanding of the company's business goals and objectives
- Provide varying levels of support on the following products:
- Bentley MicroStation
- Bentley civil design products such as InRoads, OpenRoads, OpenBridge
- Bentley Hydraulics and Hydrology products such as CivilStorm, PondPack, StormCAD, WaterCAD/GEMS, SewerCAD/GEMS
- Bentley structural design products such as STAAD and RAM
- Autodesk AutoCAD
- Autodesk Civil 3D
- Transoft Solutions AutoTURN Pro, GuideSIGN, TORUS
- Bluebeam Revu and Studio
Required Attributes:
- Education/experience: Associates Degree plus 5 - 10 years' experience in the engineering industry using, supporting and/or administrating CAD applications (i.e. MicroStation, InRoads, GEOPAK, etc.)
- Advanced working knowledge of Bentley MicroStation and civil design products
- Experience creating/supporting custom workspaces/worksets
- Deliver virtual/in-person training for major project initiatives
- Occasional travel may be required
- Strong customer-service skills and ability to prioritize multiple requests
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience with OpenRoads/OpenBridge a plus
- Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM and networking a plus
- Experience developing in MDL, VBA, VBS, or other languages a plus
- Experience using/supporting Bluebeam Revu a plus
