Demo Consultant
The Demo Consultant plays a critical role in enabling the pre-sales process by creating, curating, and scaling best-in-class product demonstrations. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to design and maintain demo environments, assets, and strategies that help Solution Consultants deliver compelling customer experiences. You will ensure demos are aligned to business priorities, product functionality, and market messaging to ultimately help accelerate pipeline and close new business.
What You’ll Do
Develop, enhance, and maintain reusable demo assets across all Workiva solutions to support Solution Consultants and broader go-to-market team
Drive the end-to-end demo build process, including storyboarding, validation, prioritization, asset creation, rollout, and enablement
Collaborate closely with R&D, Product Management, and Product Marketing to align demos with product functionality, roadmap, and messaging
Centralize, organize, and govern demo assets for efficient access and adoption by Solution Consultants
Partner with Solution Consultants on top opportunities by providing demo strategy, technical guidance, and architecture recommendations
Monitor and respond to demo-related questions; troubleshoot issues in demo environments and coordinate with technical teams to resolve them
Translate new Workiva product features into updated demo experiences that showcase value and differentiation
Track and catalog proof of concepts, ensuring scalability and reuse across opportunities
Work with Solution Consultant leadership to promote demo best practices, share updates, and drive enablement
Partner with Sales and Product Marketing to align demos with go-to-market initiatives and marketing deliverables
What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 2 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on technical experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies, and architectures
Strong presentation, storytelling, and interpersonal communication skills
Self-motivated with a bias toward action, results, and continuous improvement
Technical aptitude to understand data models, system integrations, data migration, and Workiva implementation
Strong project management and organizational skills to manage complex initiatives
Ability to translate business needs into compelling demo experiences that showcase value
Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
Up to 30% travel
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, if not in a Workiva office
How You’ll Be Rewarded
✅ On Target Earnings (OTE) range in the US: 123,000.00 - 197,000.00 USD Annual
✅ Eligible for commission based on sales performance
✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package
