Demand Generation Manager
Description To help drive ActiveState’s next stage of growth of our Software Supply Chain Security platform, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Demand Generation Manager to join our marketing team. This is a 100% remote position from anywhere in North America About the Position As the Demand Generation Manager, you will be responsible for developing, planning, and executing all demand generation strategies, campaigns, and performance metrics to drive Top of Funnel growth. Your technical proficiency with various marketing channels, such as paid digital channels, sponsorships, events, and more, will drive accelerated growth. Passionate about experimentation and continuous improvement, you excel in evaluating, tracking, and reporting on the effectiveness of demand-generation initiatives with a data-driven approach. Key Responsibilities
Own the Demand Generation Strategy and Vision: Identify, size, and prioritize opportunities that will ensure we meet our Top of Funnel and pipeline generation goals. Utilize various marketing channels including digital advertising, email marketing, content marketing, social media, SEO, virtual and in-person events, and a variety of other methods to generate qualified leads.
Execute the Demand Generation Strategy: Beyond overseeing the Demand Generation Strategy, this role is responsible for the execution of the strategy.
Marketing Tools: Manage and leverage existing and new marketing automation tools.
Identify Growth Opportunities: Develop new approaches that deliver high-quality leads and translate these ideas into projects you will build, lead, and implement.
Define and Set Targets: Establish targets for appropriate measurement and own the lead generation performance narrative. Enhance our analytics and technology capabilities to support demand generation programs.
Campaign Analysis and Optimization: Track, optimize, analyze, and report on the performance of demand generation campaigns using analytics tools and KPIs.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work effectively and efficiently with internal teams such as Creative, Product, Sales, and Brand to engage our target audience.
Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Keep up with the latest demand generation industry trends, platforms, and technologies, maintaining close relationships with leading tools and platforms.
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in demand generation, lead generation, and user/customer acquisition, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful demand-generation campaigns.
Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
Nice to Have
Strong understanding of opensource, developer, and IT audiences, with the ability to create targeted messaging and content
