THE TEAM

Partnering daily with sales leadership, this role sits in the Business Operations team. We are focused on driving global optimization, innovation and growth through analytical insights and operational rigor – both at the strategic and tactical levels. We set KPIs to measure what matters, analyze what’s happening to find ways to improve, and drive global execution through process definition and operating rhythm management. 

 

THE ROLE

The Deal Desk Program Manager ensures that sales deals balance revenue growth with profitability. They will partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Go-to-Market Business Systems teams to structure deals, approve discounts and working capital offerings, and enforce SOX and internal policy compliance. To be successful in this role, they will need to be disciplined, proactive, and curious – someone who loves challenges and succeeds at juggling multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment. As a program manager, the ideal candidate is experienced in helping with deals on the frontlines but also passionate about continuous improvement and finding opportunities to evolve strategies, processes, and systems.

 

YOU WILL

  • Develop creative structures and coordinate approvals for complex deals

  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance to develop pricing strategies and discounting guidelines.

  • Review and approve sales proposals, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with company policies.

  • Conduct deal reviews to assess risk, identify opportunities, and provide recommendations for deal structure and pricing.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales teams regarding deal-related discount and working capital questions and escalations.

  • Develop and manage reports to analyze deal performance and provide insights to drive improvements in pricing, terms, and negotiation strategies.

  • Develop and maintain deal management tools, templates, and processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

  • Serve as a thought leader within the sales organization, bringing industry best practices to the conversation and acting as a force multiplier to advance our results globally 

  • Working capital program, discounting, deal analyzer, bonuses, upfronts

  • Understand strategy around pricing, packaging, discounting, capital offerings, terms, etc. 

 

THE SKILLSET

  • 5+ years demonstrated ability in deal desk, sales operations, revenue operations, pricing strategy, sales financial analysis, sales leadership, or relevant experience

  • Hands-on experience with sales deal structures, contract negotiations, approval processes, pricing strategy, compliance management

  • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence peers and leadership

  • Adaptable to changing needs and situations in a fast-paced environment

  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, self-directed, and collaborative

  • Required Skills: Salesforce, Excel, Conga (or equivalent software)

  • Able to navigate ambiguity, adjusting program direction to meet business needs

  • Effective, clear, and concise verbal and written communication to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives

  • Creative problem-solving

  • Extremely detail-oriented

  • Analytical skills

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
