Comfortable working in AWS or another cloud environment
Familiarity with APIs, data flows, and backend integrations (REST, SOAP, HL7)
Good troubleshooting skills and a desire to learn — especially in a complex, high-security environment
Experience with backups, performance monitoring, and managing data in production systems
Clear communication and documentation skills; able to collaborate with developers, analysts, and security teams
Bonus Qualifications:
Exposure to VA systems, healthcare data, or federal environments
Experience with Oracle, InterSystems IRIS / HealthShare, or MUMPS
Familiarity with DevOps tooling: Git, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes
Knowledge of data security standards and PHI/PII handling
