Customer Success Manager - Deployment (Japanese Required)

We are excited to hire our next Customer Success Manager (Deployment). As our Customer Success Manager (Deployment), you will contribute to groundbreaking projects by building and deploying customer-specific digital network models. Collaborating closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product and Engineering teams, you will ensure customers receive accurate models with tailored visualizations that meet their needs, along with a smooth onboarding experience and successful adoption of Neara.  

Our training is fast-paced, designed to bring you up to speed on our software along with our related processes. You will be joining our Customer Success team to work directly with new customers. This position will require a large amount of learning on behalf of the candidate to be proficient with industry knowledge, our products and the value it offers. We are looking for individuals who can think critically and solve complex problems.

While experience in Utilities or GIS is beneficial, we prioritize your ability to analyze situations, pinpoint key issues, and implement effective solutions. Proficiency in Python will be especially valuable for this role.

Some of the things you will contribute to:

  • Collaborate with customers at the end of the Sales cycle to initiate the project build

  • Defining the project phases, timelines, and deliverables

  • Executing project set-up and data ingest processes

  • Developing the model and associated deliverables to fulfill project requirements

  • Configuring or customizing solutions as outlined in the project scope

  • Conducting testing and final QA/QC of project deliverables to ensure readiness before the customer goes live

  • Ensuring Neara’s system is fully deployed to meet the customer’s expectations and specifications

  • Delivering comprehensive training to customer project stakeholders on model setup, usage and outputs

  • Proactively communicating with internal teams to resolve or provide guidance on operational issues within Neara’s systems

  • Providing regular project status updates to customer stakeholders and internal regional and international Leadership

  • Maintaining open, professional communication with colleagues, partners, customers and vendors to drive customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

Some attributes we highly regard:

  • Proficiency in written and spoken Japanese is required for this role. Fluency or native-level ability is highly regarded. 

  • Self-motivated problem solver who can quickly get to the core of complex challenges

  • Ability to break down problems systematically and develop practical solutions

  • Python coding skills are highly regarded

  • Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse stakeholders

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Strong project management skills with experience handling complex implementations preferred

  • Background in mechanical, electrical, civil or software engineering would be highly beneficial

  • Self-motivated, solutions-driven, detail-oriented, and highly organized

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality assurance
