About the role:

Airtm’s Legal team is looking for an experienced lawyer (Counsel) located in EMEA or South Asia to support Airtm’s growing business, including commercial, product, regulatory, licensing, corporate, and compliance matters. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial and analytical skills, an inquisitive approach, exceptional organizational skills, a practical problem-solving approach, and thrive taking on new challenges. This is an opportunity to take on a wide range of responsibilities and learn new skills as a key member of a versatile legal team. Experience in all areas not required. What you’ll be responsible for:

- Be a key utility player on the Legal team, counseling the organization on high profile, mission-critical projects across the Company in areas including new partner relationships, growth and marketing, contract management, consumer privacy and regulatory and compliance initiatives.

- Responsibilities may include:

1)Assisting with the drafting and negotiation of contracts with vendors, B2B clients and commercial partners.

2)Maintaining and updating Airtm’s user terms.

3)Reviewing advertising and marketing initiatives to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, with a particular focus in Latin America.

4)Assisting with the design of new products, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

5)Supporting our People team on employment matters.

6)Assisting in regulatory research and analysis in the digital assets space.

7)Support with global licensing efforts and other strategic regulatory initiatives.

8)Supporting the Company on corporate matters including BAU governance, as well as financing and corporate structure projects.

Experience & skills:

- 2-5 years of related experience working as a qualified lawyer either in-house at a tech or financial/digital assets firm, or at a leading law firm.

- Fluent in English with strong drafting skills. Other languages (especially Spanish) a plus.

- Strong organizational skills.

- Interest or experience in emerging technologies and/or crypto.

- Detail-oriented legal project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing projects to effective resolution.
