The Engagement Core team sits within the Engagement Group of the Growth Product Line at HubSpot. The team’s mission is to enable a world where every customer interaction with HubSpot is timely, relevant, and impactful.
We operate on two fronts: first, by developing the infrastructure and insights to support Product teams in creating exceptional, data-driven experiences from Day-1 through ongoing engagement; and second, elevating customer engagement across our platform by creating personalized and actionable reasons for customers to return to HubSpot, driving retention and deepened usage. Our work ensures that HubSpot is highly personalized and relevant for every interaction within the customer journey.
In this role you’ll get to:
Create a shared vision and cohesive roadmap to explore how platform capabilities can reinvent engagement for HubSpot customers
Leverage data and customer research to identify areas of opportunity; propose creative solutions and leverage tools like Loveable, Bolt, and Replit to rapidly test new concepts and iterate
Partner closely with engineering, UX, data science, and other teams within Growth to validate and scale ideas that show promise
Drive alignment, set goals, build understanding and motivate others, including cross-functional partners across the company
Guide new product ideas from initial concept all the way through launch
Understand our customers and their journey through the product by engaging with them directly and often
Use data to measure the impact of your experiments and identify new areas to explore
We are looking for people who have:
Experience launching innovative products successfully to customers
A multidisciplinary approach to thinking, combining market, business and technical insights to identify opportunities and weigh tradeoffs
Experience and willingness to work in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments with ambiguity and evolving priorities
The ability to influence and inspire cross-functional partners and fellow PMs
Experience partnering closely with design and engineering teams on a regular basis
A deep respect for the expertise and insights of their collaborators, including engineering, design, UX research, analytics, and others
A drive to deeply understand customer needs and solve for them in elegant and powerful ways
Excellent communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills
Bonus: hands-on experience with AI prototyping tools like Lovable, Bolt, or Replit
Pay & Benefits
The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are tailored to your skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
