Position Overview
Ashfield Healthcare is GROWING again! We're looking for highly skilled contract recruiters to join our extended Talent Acquisition team across the US. Responsibilities
- Contact hiring managers to understand the type of candidates that will be successful in each role
- Source external candidates via networking, cold calling and job boards
- Understanding of the Company's organizational structure as well as knowledge of specific Human Resources policy and procedures and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
- Phone screen applicants using approved telephone interview guides
- Schedule appointments with hiring managers for interviews
- Serve as the point of contact for inquiries from external applicants
- Respond to candidates who have expressed interest in working for the company
- Assist in coordination and facilitation of selection events, including face to face interviews
- Follow-up with candidates by telephone or email with regards to interview confirmation
- Collect all interview notes, update details, and maintain interview records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Support hiring managers as required throughout hiring process
- Support recruiting department objectives to include but not limited to reducing time to fill, reducing cost per hire and diversity objectives
- Proactively research job boards, associations and other means to advertise
- Update requisitions in Applicant Tracking System to ensure proper applicant flow
- Prepare and ensure accuracy of required reporting
Skills/Experience Required
- Big pharma experience and/or healthcare industry preferred
- Agency/high volume recruiting backgrounds preferred
- Hourly bill rates based on experience and background
- Minimum of 5 years recruiting experience
- Will be contracted for large to very large hiring efforts for Big Pharma clients
- Personal ownership of a LinkedIn Recruiting membership seat and/or CareerBuilder license highly recommended and preferred
- Willingness and ability to close 10-15 job requisitions in a 4-8 week time-frame for your dedicated regional area
- Will require proof of Business Registration and Business Insurance
- Requires successful background checks and drug testing to be considered
