Consumer Insights Manager

RYZE is on a mission to revolutionize the way people connect with wellnessand were looking for a strategic, data-driven Consumer Insights Manager to help lead the charge. In this role, youll be the voice of the customer, uncovering what motivates and inspires our audience through thoughtful research and analysis. Your insights will directly inform product innovation, marketing strategy, and company direction, ensuring customer needs are at the heart of every decision. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute consumer research studies (quantitative and qualitative), including surveys, focus groups, interviews, and ethnographic studies.

  • Own and evolve the consumer segmentation framework to identify high-value audiences and tailor messaging, creative, and channel mix to match needs, mindsets, and behaviors.

  • Leverage shopper insightsespecially tied to upcoming retail launchesto inform messaging, in-store activations, and omni-channel content strategies that resonate at the point of sale.

  • Monitor cultural trends, competitor activity, and shifts in the wellness, coffee, and functional beverage space to keep RYZE ahead of the curve.

  • Use advanced analytics and predictive modeling (in partnership with the Data team) to anticipate emerging consumer behaviors and proactively shape strategic direction.

  • Translate consumer data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for product, marketing, and sales teams.

  • Manage and collaborate with external research vendors and agencies.

  • Analyze market trends, customer segmentation, and competitive intelligence to inform brand and product strategy.

  • Present findings and insights to cross-functional teams and senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Partner with data analytics and product teams to align insights with broader business goals.

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate insights across the organization.

  • Monitor brand health and customer satisfaction metrics (e.g., NPS, CSAT).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Psychology, Business, Statistics, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or related roles.

  • Strong background in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

  • Proficiency in tools such as SPSS, Qualtrics, Tableau, Excel, or similar.

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work cross-functionally.

  • Experience with brand tracking, segmentation, and shopper journey analysis is a plus.

Required Skills:

  • Strong foundation in quantitative and qualitative research, including surveys, segmentation, focus groups, and ethnographic studies.

  • Skilled in designing and analyzing research to uncover actionable consumer insights.

  • Ability to turn complex data into clear, strategic recommendations.

  • Proficient in Excel and familiar with tools like SPSS, SAS, R, Python.

  • Strong data storytelling and visualization skills using Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

  • Solid understanding of marketing strategy, brand positioning, and consumer behavior.

  • Excellent communicator with experience presenting to cross-functional teams and executives.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and third-party research vendors.

  • Experience with survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey) and CRM/analytics platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Google Analytics).

  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactivethrives in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
