Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Community Lead to join our team and elevate CD PROJEKT RED’s community presence across Asia. If you’re excited about empowering local teams, connecting with players, and fostering meaningful, culturally sensitive engagement around The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 universes—this could be your next role.

As a Community Lead for Asia, you will localize and implement global community strategies while ensuring that our regional community managers feel heard, supported, and set up for success. This role offers the opportunity to lead, mentor, and drive impactful projects that resonate with players across South Korea, Japan, China, and other territories in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-develop long- and short-term community strategies tailored to CD PROJEKT RED titles across Asia.

  • Translate the global community vision into localized strategies for South Korea, Japan, China, and other regional markets.

  • Partner with and support local community managers to align on campaign goals, timelines, and brand tone.

  • Monitor budgets, project pipelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency and impact.

  • Facilitate transparent communication between Asia-based teams and headquarters, ensuring alignment with company-wide goals.

  • Represent the needs of the Asia community team within HQ conversations and ensure global direction is clearly communicated back to regional teams.

  • Provide mentorship, feedback, and growth opportunities to local community managers, fostering a strong and cohesive team.

  • Deliver reports and updates on community trends, sentiment, and emerging opportunities in the region.

  • Advocate for culturally relevant approaches and help ensure inclusive, regionally sensitive communication.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Communication, Marketing, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in communications within the games industry, including 1–2 years in a managerial or lead role.

  • Proven track record in leading AAA community or social media campaigns.

  • Experience with annual budget planning and team-level financial management.

  • In-depth knowledge of the Asian gaming ecosystem and region-specific social platforms.

  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.

  • A proactive, self-reliant attitude with strong organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead a distributed team.

  • Awareness of cultural nuances and a commitment to inclusive communication.

  • Willingness to travel across Asia and internationally.

  • A genuine passion for storytelling, player communities, and video games.

What We Offer:

  • A high-impact, strategic role in one of the industry’s most beloved studios.

  • The opportunity to influence how we engage with passionate communities across Asia.

  • A creative, inclusive, and international team that values empathy, initiative, and collaboration.
