Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Community Lead to join our team and help shape the voice of CD PROJEKT RED in the EMEA region. If you're someone who thrives on building communities, empowering local teams, and creating meaningful engagement for players beyond the games themselves—we’d love to hear from you.

As a Community Lead, you’ll work across iconic IPs like The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077, helping implement global community strategies at the regional level, while amplifying local voices and initiatives. This role combines creative thinking with leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and regional oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-develop long- and short-term community strategies for CD PROJEKT RED titles across EMEA.

  • Translate and implement global community vision into actionable plans for DACH, France, Spain, Poland, CIS, and other territories.

  • Coordinate and support local community managers, ensuring alignment with brand goals, timely project execution, and regional consistency.

  • Manage the flow of communication between EMEA teams and headquarters, ensuring transparency and synergy across initiatives.

  • Supervise local project pipelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

  • Represent the needs and perspectives of local community teams at HQ, while ensuring global expectations are clearly communicated and executed locally.

  • Provide mentorship and growth opportunities to the EMEA community manager team, including performance feedback and development support.

  • Prepare regional reports and maintain awareness of community trends, sentiment, and challenges within the EMEA gaming landscape.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Communication, Marketing, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.

  • At least 7 years of experience in games industry communications, including 1–2 years in a managerial or team lead role.

  • Proven success in leading community and/or social media campaigns for AAA game titles.

  • Experience managing annual budgets and team-level expenditures.

  • Deep understanding of the EMEA gaming ecosystem, including social media habits and cultural nuances.

  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.

  • Strong leadership qualities—supportive, organized, and committed to helping others grow.

  • High level of autonomy and initiative; comfortable navigating between departments and adapting to shifting priorities.

  • Passion for video games and community-driven storytelling.

  • Willingness to travel within and outside of EMEA.

What We Offer:

  • A strategic and impactful role at the intersection of community, brand, and player experience.

  • The opportunity to shape community engagement around globally loved franchises.

  • A diverse, creative, and collaborative environment that values different perspectives and backgrounds.
