Communications Brand Intern

Our global communications team is a mix of media strategists, former journalists, creatives, and storytellers. We work together to share Eventbrite’s story and make sure it reflects our mission and values.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Brand Communications Intern to help us keep Eventbrite at the center of cultural conversations. This role is hands-on—you’ll track trends, write and edit content, support media outreach, and contribute ideas to campaigns. You’ll learn the ins and outs of consumer PR, brand marketing, and data-driven storytelling while helping us highlight Eventbrite as the place for unique, shared experiences.
This position is remote and reports to the Senior Director, Brand & Consumer Communications
YOU WILL
Track cultural trends and spot opportunities for Eventbrite to join the conversation
Use platform data to identify event trends that can become media stories
Build and update media lists, research new journalists, and keep coverage organized
Draft press materials like pitches, releases, and blog posts
Support briefing books, trend reports, and brainstorming sessions
Help amplify brand campaigns and seasonal activations
Research industry and competitor trends to inform strategy
Collaborate with marketing, social, and content teams
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Completed a college degree (junior level or higher) in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, English, or similar
Previous internship or experience in PR, communications, or marketing
Available 30–40 hours per week during business hours
Skills & Attributes:
Basic understanding of communications, social media, PR, and/or marketing
Active on social media and tuned into cultural trends
Strong writing and communication skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and creative
Comfortable working independently and with a team
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Positive, 'make it happen' attitude
Bonus Points:
Canva and/or graphic design experience
Interest in the live events/experiences space
Understanding of Gen Z culture and digital habits
