About the job
We are looking for a Commercial Contracts Specialist to join our Legal Operations function, supporting the Go-To-Market (GTM) sales and partners organization and Telecom Carrier Relations organization. In this role, you will be a member of our Center of Excellence function, which currently consists of three Contracts professionals. The Center of Excellence serves as the first legal point of contact for all incoming GTM and Telecom Carrier Relations commercial legal support requests. You will also directly support Twilio’s Commercial Legal team by reviewing and vetting requests for legal support on all commercial contracts-related matters, negotiating NDAs, and drafting order forms.

Serve as a first point of contact to provide commercial contracts-related education and process guidance to your GTM and Telecom Carrier Relations colleagues
Review, vet, and provide timely responses to a high volume of incoming requests for legal support on general inquiries, agreement negotiation requests, and miscellaneous legal documents (e.g., transition services letters, consent to assignments, compliance attestations), while ensuring adherence to contracting processes and policies
Independently negotiate NDAs on Twilio’s template and counterparty’s template
Draft non-standard contractual terms and language from scratch into order forms with minimal supervision
Be an operational expert on Twilio’s GTM-facing and telecom carrier-facing contracting processes
Contribute to your knowledge and learnings from novel situations to the Center of Excellence Playbook
Support a range of ad-hoc operational projects and high volume tasks across multiple legal functions
Qualifications
Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. If your career is just starting or hasn't followed a traditional path, don't let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!
Required:
A Bachelor’s degree
4+ years of experience as a Contracts Administrator, Contracts Manager, or Contracts Paralegal, which includes proficiency in independently drafting and negotiating NDAs and order forms
Experience using commercial contracting tools, including Salesforce, Conga, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, DocuSign, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong attention to detail with a customer-first attitude
Be a process-minded and oriented professional
Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with minimal supervision
Desired:
Experience supporting a sales organization at a high growth technology company
Experience creating and managing process documentation and policies
Experience handling high volume, repeatable tasks across different legal functions (e.g., commercial, law enforcement response, litigation)
Good sense of humor, disdain for drama, interest for learning new things, and desire to get things done
Location
This role will be remote, and based in Ireland

We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, you may be required to travel occasionally to participate in project or team in-person meetings.
