Your Opportunity to Make an Impact
We are looking for a Junior Cloud Operations Engineer to help design, implement, and maintain our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This is your opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to exciting projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in software development, system administration, and cloud technologies. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our development processes, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of our systems.
This is a remote opportunity based in Bulgaria.
What You'll Do:
Maintain customer-facing product hosting infrastructure
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve problems with help of other team members
Manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
Supporting system deployments to multiple environments (DEV, STAGE, PROD)
Produce detailed documentation
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in DevOps practices, evaluating and recommending new tools and technologies to enhance our infrastructure
Skills and Experience We're Excited About:
2+ years of experience in a CloudOps /DevOps or related role
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
Basic experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
Good understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems
Understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and system administration
Proficiency in scripting languages
Ability to solve complex technical problems
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Nice to Have, but Not Required:
Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar are a plus
Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitLab)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible
Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Loki
Experience with VMware vSphere
Experience in building network configurations, troubleshooting network outages and managing network configuration changes
