We’re seeking a dynamic, inspiring, and technically exceptional leader to serve as our Chief Architect for Cloud and Strategic Solutions Delivery—a role that will define and lead a new center of excellence for solution architecture across the business. What You Will Do:

  • Solution Architecture Center of Excellence: Build and lead a team of subject matter experts who will modernize, standardize, and accelerate solution architecture efforts across the organization.

  • Cloud & Application Development Capability: Architect and scale a world-class delivery model for cloud-native and enterprise-grade solutions, with a strong emphasis on AWS and other leading platforms.

  • Go-to-Market Innovation: Spearhead the creation of reusable solution assets, demo environments, delivery playbooks, and golden paths that empower sales and delivery teams to operate with precision and speed.

  • Proposal & Brand Support: Actively support strategic proposal efforts, client marketing initiatives, and brand promotion activities—ensuring our architectural vision is front and center in how we present ourselves to the market.

  • Ecosystem Leadership: Elevate Guidehouse’s standing with strategic partners through thought leadership, technical excellence, and deal-flow influence.

  • Talent Magnetism: Identify, recruit, and inspire a high-performing team of architects and engineers, drawing from your personal network and industry reputation.

What You Will Need:

  • Hands-On Expertise: You’re not just a strategist—you’ve built and delivered real solutions. You understand what works, what scales, and what aligns with well-architected principles.

  • Technical Excellence: Deep fluency in cloud platforms, modern application design, and architectural best practices. You can speak to CTOs, developers, and clients with equal confidence.

  • Leadership Presence: You’re engaging, inspiring, and able to rally cross-functional teams around a shared vision. You know how to lead from the front.

  • Builder’s Mindset: You’re excited by the challenge of creating something new—laying the foundation, setting the standards, and scaling the impact.

  • Strategic Relationships: You bring strong, trusted relationships with industry leaders and ecosystem partners—especially in the cloud space—that you can leverage to build compelling joint solutions, strengthen our market position, and extend the reach of our sales force through collaborative go-to-market efforts.

  • Experience

    • Minimum 12+ years of experience in solution architecture, cloud engineering, or enterprise application development

    • At least 5 years in a leadership role guiding architecture teams or centers of excellence

    • Proven track record of building and scaling cloud-native solutions across multiple industries or verticals

  • Education & Certifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred

    • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent

  • Technical Expertise

    • Deep familiarity with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, containerization, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and API-first design

    • Strong understanding of well-architected frameworks, design patterns, and scalable delivery models

    • Experience developing demo environments, reusable assets, and delivery playbooks for sales and implementation teams

  • Leadership & Influence

    • Demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor, and lead high-performing teams of architects and engineers

    • Strong executive presence with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders

    • Experience supporting strategic proposals, client marketing efforts, and brand-building initiatives

  • Relationship Management & Ecosystem Engagement

    • Established network of trusted relationships with cloud providers, ISVs, and industry leaders

    • Proven ability to leverage ecosystem partnerships to co-develop solutions, drive joint go-to-market initiatives, and extend sales reach

    • Comfortable representing the company in partner forums, industry events, and executive briefings

What Would Be Nice To Have:

Master’s degree preferred

The annual salary range for this position is $270,000.00-$450,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
