What You'll Do

  • Expert Influence: You’ll act as a trusted advisor, leveraging your expertise and collaborative approach to guide stakeholders through strategic decisions. Your success will come from building consensus, fostering trust, and driving action through influence rather than authority. Your role will be as an internal ‘consultant’ working hand-in-hand with operational leads to co-create strategies and solutions, ensuring alignment and buy-in at every step. You’ll provide expert recommendations while empowering teams to take ownership of the execution.

  • Collaborate and Influence: Work closely with one of our co-founders and his growth leadership team, providing results and aligning efforts to meet ambitious revenue goals. You will work across the full lifecycle of our Blinkist consumer journey: Creative, Performance Marketing, CRO and CRM.

  • Innovate and Lead: You’ll analyze and enhance our most profitable revenue-generating flywheels, devising creative strategies and working closely with teams to implement and refine them. Your role is to guide and empower teams to unlock their full potential.

  • Strategic Impact: You will evaluate and optimize revenue levers like user acquisition, retention, and upgrades, crafting strategies that maximize our monetization potential.

  • Drive Growth: You will identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities within these levers, and execute on these within iterative daily sprints.

  • Market Expansion: You will develop and execute market-specific plans, using diverse strategies to capture and maximize revenue in key regions.

  • Get hands-on: You’ll be a part of Marketing, Engineering, and Data teams actively contributing to the most important task at hand. Whether that be analysis, prototyping or launching initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Experienced in creating data-driven, customer-focused journey programs that enhance successful areas and explore new growth opportunities.

  • Whether from management consultancy, entrepreneurship, or a strong entrepreneurial spirit, you should bring core expertise and an insatiable curiosity and drive to learn and contribute.

  • Experience operating in, or consulting for, small to mid-size businesses, with mobile subscription apps.

  • Successful in driving results within cross-functional teams and able to adapt communication styles to suit (ranging from junior engineers to the CFO).

  • Well-versed in topics such as user acquisition, pricing, subscription optimization or similar.

  • Knowledgeable about digital marketing and the dynamics of subscription businesses.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions - we are a very data-driven and analytical team so we highly value such skills.

  • A preference for speed and pragmatism over perfection.

  • A growth-focused mindset that is focused on delivering daily.

  • An ability to roll your sleeves up and be low ego in delivery.
