Business Intelligence Analyst - Revenue Operations
Revenue Operations Business Intelligence Analyst
📍 Remote (Americas) | 🕒 Full-time | Exempt | 💼 Revenue Operations Team
Ready to turn data into decisions that drive revenue growth? At Pax8, we’re looking for a technically adept, insight-driven Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Americas Revenue Operations team. In this role, you’ll leverage your Power BI expertise to transform complex data into adaptable, enterprise-grade dashboards and compelling narratives that surface performance drivers, enable root cause analysis, and promote GTM execution. You'll partner cross-functionally with both technical and business stakeholders to translate strategic revenue questions into data-driven actions – scaling insights, shaping analytics strategy, and advancing Pax8’s BI maturity. If you're passionate about operationalizing data more widely and elevating data literacy across functions, this is your opportunity to make a measurable impact.
What You’ll Do
🔍 BI Development & Insight Delivery (50%)
Design, develop, and optimize enterprise-level Power BI reports and dashboards that integrate data from multiple sources into comprehensive, intuitive visuals.
Build semantic models, design drill-through navigation, and surface KPIs that explain the “why,” not just the “what.”
Explore and pilot emerging platforms like Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA), Microsoft Fabric, and more to advance our reporting capabilities.
🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration & Storytelling (25%)
Partner with RevOps Business Partners, Data Analysts, and GTM leaders to uncover strategic questions, shape BI roadmaps, and deliver actionable insights.
Decode technical outputs into visual narratives that influence decision-making from ICs to executives.
Champion “data as a second language” culture across revenue teams.
🔐 Data Governance & Enablement (20%)
Architect and maintain dataflows, star schema and semantic models, enforce row-level security (RLS).
Validate data accuracy, streamline refresh logic, and ensure data integrity across BI assets.
Deliver documentation, hands-on training, and guidance to foster self-service analytics and trust in a single source of truth.
🚀 Tool Innovation & Performance Optimization (5%)
Pilot AI-informed analytics and implement tools that accelerate insights and data exploration.
Monitor usage telemetry, optimize refresh schedules, and implement automated performance checks to ensure BI scalability and reliability.
What You Bring
✅ 3+ years of hands-on Power BI development in a SaaS or high-growth B2B environment ✅ Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query/M, and SQL, with experience working on datasets exceeding 50MM+ rows ✅ Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery) ✅ Ability to convert raw data into narratives that influence GTM and revenue strategy ✅ Deep understanding of SaaS revenue metrics (e.g., ARR, NRR, pipeline velocity) and sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, Command of the Message) ✅ Experience applying UX/UI design principles to dashboards to improve usability, engagement, and adoption
✅ Bonus: Experience with Python, Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA) or Data Cloud, Tableau, or AI/ML-powered analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Azure ML, predictive modeling frameworks)
What Success Looks Like
📅 First 90 Days: You’ve audited key dashboards, optimized DAX logic, and delivered cleaner visualizations aligned to GTM business health KPIs. 📅 By Month 4: You’ve rolled out a BI governance framework (dataflows, RLS, naming conventions), improved refresh performance, and aligned stakeholders to a single source of truth. 📅 By Month 6: You’ve launched self-service dashboards with 50%+ weekly active usage across GTM teams. 📅 By Year 1: You’re the go-to BI architect for GTM analytics in the Americas – mentoring peers, embedding predictive insights, and improving decision-cycle speed across revenue teams.
