The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities for Finalsite, the leader in community engagement solutions for K-12 districts and schools worldwide. This position is often the “welcoming face” or “front door” of our company and lays the foundation for how we conduct our business. BDRs are crucial to our growth strategy and contribute greatly to our sales pipeline. Finalsite has recently doubled in size and continues to grow as we are looking for passionate, positive, driven and determined individuals to join our team!

LOCATION

100% Remote - Anywhere within the US

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Find qualified new business opportunities to fill Finalsite’s pipeline via prospecting through cold calling, emails, video and social media messaging

  • Achieve prospecting metrics, key performance indicators as defined for the role and department

  • Possess a firm understanding of Finalsite and our solutions

  • Strategize with assigned sales partner(s) on prospecting list segmentation and messaging

  • Participate in BDR Team posting to LinkedIn and other social media platforms

  • Research prospect accounts and contacts, consistently capture data in Salesforce CRM and Outreach

  • Nurture prospect relationships through creative prospecting

  • Service Inbound Leads in a timely manner (preferably in 15 minutes or less)

  • Conduct account discovery by phone or video to collect new account intel

  • Assist in driving Finalsite event attendance

  • Contribute to team goals and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other team members

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in sales, marketing, or other customer-facing roles

  • Salesforce and Outreach experience are a plus

  • Requires a positive attitude, willingness to work hard and go-getter mindset

  • Committed to quality with attention to detail

  • Resourceful and endlessly curious

  • Passion for community, families, schools, and students

  • Ability to meet or exceed targets and quotas

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT

Finalsite offers 100% fully remote employment opportunities, however, these opportunities are limited to permanent residents of the United States. Current residency, as well as continued residency, within the United States is required to obtain (and retain) employment with Finalsite.
