Burr Pilger Mayer India Pvt. Ltd. (BPM India) is a subsidiary of BPM LLP. With 17 offices across the world, BPM serves emerging and mid-cap businesses as well as high-net-worth individuals in a broad range of industries, including financial services, technology, life science, manufacturing, food, wine and craft brewing, automotive, nonprofits, real estate and construction. The Firm’s International Tax Practice is one of the largest on the West Coast and its well-recognized SEC practice serves approximately 35 public reporting companies, mostly in the technology industry. 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving growth through lead generation, market research, and supporting our outbound campaign management efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation:

  • Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including online research, social media, and networking events.

  • Maintain and update lead databases to ensure accuracy and relevance.

  • List Scrubbing:

  • Regularly review and clean lead lists to eliminate duplicates and outdated contacts.

  • Ensure all leads meet predefined criteria for targeting.

  • Contact Scrubbing:

  • Verify and validate contact information to improve outreach effectiveness.

  • Utilize CRM tools to manage and organize contacts systematically.

  • Market Research: 

  • Conduct comprehensive research on industry trends, competitor offerings, and potential client contacts by micro vertical.

  • Analyze data to provide insights and reports to the sales team.

  • Outbound Campaign Management:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of outbound marketing campaigns, including email outreach and follow-ups.

  • Track and report on campaign performance metrics to optimize future efforts.

  • Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and share insights.

  • Support the team in special projects and/or business development programs as needed.

  • Reporting:

  • Generate regular reports on lead generation activities, conversion rates, and other key metrics.

  • Present findings and recommendations to the management team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related area (fresh graduates with relevant internships are also encouraged to apply).

  • Previous knowledge and/or experience working with ERP, CRM, or other technology services organizations is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Mailchimp).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
