JOB DESCRIPTION
Role Summary:
The Data Analyst supports the BSA/AML team by providing analytical insights and data-driven support for transaction monitoring, screening, and reporting functions. This role is responsible for extracting, analyzing, and visualizing data to enhance the effectiveness of Green Dot’s AML compliance program. The analyst will collaborate with compliance, operations, and data science teams to ensure regulatory alignment and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze transaction monitoring and screening data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for rule optimization.
Develop dashboards and reports to support AML risk governance and executive reporting.
Collaborate with the Head BSA/AML Data Scientist to support rule tuning and model validation.
Assist in the integration of third-party Bank-issued product data into enterprise-wide AML reporting.
Support the transformation of manual data processes into automated workflows.
Contribute to the development of metrics and KPIs for AML program performance.
Assist in preparing data for internal audits, regulatory exams, and compliance reviews.
Monitor regulatory changes and support updates to data-related compliance documentation.
Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within AML/BSA compliance or financial services.
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with AML systems and regulatory requirements (Unit21 experience preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in cross-functional teams.

PAY RANGE
The targeted base salary for this position is $71,200 to $106,800 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
