Azure Solution Architect
Overview & Responsibilities
Azure Solution Architect will have experience/expertise in the following:
Designing Solutions in Microsoft Azure as per project specifications and needs.
In-depth understanding of computing, storage, backup, network components, monitoring, and DR environment requirements.
Experience and understanding of large-scale applications portfolio in the enterprise-wide environment (including migration of on-premises workloads to the cloud) required.
Design and implement advanced functions of Azure AD Premium including security, governance, and compliance.
Drive architecture and technical discussion to lead cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions regarding scale, performance, agility, HA/DR considerations.
Deep domain expertise in cloud application development solutions (e.g., IaaS, Serverless, API Management), container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry), continuous integration technologies (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins), web application server technologies, cloud application design, software architecture.
Deep domain expertise of practices (design/development/deployment, Agile, SCRUM, ALM), breadth of technical experience, and technical aptitude to learn and adjust to new technologies and cloud trends required.
Configure and manage customer Azure cloud environment.
Ability to analyze systems and identify problems migrating to Azure cloud.
SPOC for all Rackspace resources assigned to this project.
Work with clients to ensure smooth and successful implementation, delivery, and deployment of complex solutions.
Experience/Education
12+ or more years in technical support or IT professional services.
10+ years’ experience in Cloud and Data center migration projects as a solution architect.
10+ years working with cloud technologies.
Candidates with certifications, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related.
