As an Associate Product Manager, you are on a mission to solve key problems for our customers and their guests. Collaborating closely with Product Leads, Designers, Engineers, and customers, you support all stages of the product life cycle, spanning from discovery and development to launch and continuous improvement. Your strong business acumen and understanding of user needs and technology help your team deliver impact for users with each and every release.

You will report to the Director of Product Management, Order, and can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or at Olo’s headquarters in NYC.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to your team and peer's product roadmaps using customer insights, business objectives, data analysis, and market research.

  • Establish and maintain a deep understanding of your product, its customers, user personas, and their respective pain points.

  • Discover and frame problems via research, conversations, and focus groups with customers and stakeholders.

  • Discover solutions to user problems with ideation, prototype development, testing, and analysis in collaboration with Design and Engineering.

  • Translate requirements into functional specifications, prioritizing iterative enhancements to improve customer value while supporting long-term goals, in collaboration with Design and Engineering.

  • Identify and mitigate risks to product development and launch, ensuring requirements are met with each deployment and that changes do not disrupt existing usage.

  • Contribute to and help execute launch plans that support adoption goals and KPIs.

  • Document changes and collaborate with Go To Market teams (Product Marketing, Customer Experience, Sales/Sales Engineering) to distribute documentation, educate, and drive solution adoption.

What We’ll Expect From You

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution anywhere, or equivalent practical experience.

  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an entry to mid-level technical or business facing role at a product-led technology company.

  • Minimum 1 year of direct experience engaging with enterprise B2B customers, including interaction with key decision-makers at the C-suite and senior executive levels.

  • Leadership experience, whether professionally or in an academic or extracurricular setting.

  • Proficient in modern web technologies and design principles, coupled with the ability to quickly grasp and apply unfamiliar concepts.

  • Demonstrates creativity and resourcefulness to identify solutions to achieve product goals.

  • Adaptive to changes as new information arises, making sound tradeoff decisions to support customer and business needs.

  • Able to proactively manage your workload and tasks independently, demonstrating good judgment in prioritization and time management.

  • Reliable, organized, and punctual whether working in-person or remotely.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Your statements and questions are succinct and direct.

  • Able to travel to customer, partner, conference, and Olo office locations as needed.

  • Experience operating within the Product Development Lifecycle at a company following Agile principles and practicing continuous integration and delivery.

  • Experience performing and reporting on market research and competitive analysis.

  • Comfortable gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform product decisions and strategies.

  • Legally able to work in the United States.
