Associate - Email Designer (HTML)
About You
Nutrafol is looking for an Associate, Email Designer (HTML) to join our Retention Marketing Team. In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing, and deploying highly dynamic and responsive emails that support our retention and lifecycle marketing initiatives. You’ll work closely with CRM managers, associates, designers, and cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution of campaigns that drive engagement and deliver on business objectives.
You should have a strong command of responsive email coding (HTML/CSS), attention to detail, and a solid understanding of email best practices, QA, and deliverability standards. Experience with ESPs (Iterable preferred) and familiarity with personalization/dynamic content are highly valuable.
Responsibilities:
Code, test, and QA responsive HTML/CSS email templates optimized for multiple devices, inboxes, and platforms
Implement dynamic and personalized content using ESP data integrations and automation tools
Partner with CRM associates and design teams to translate design files (Figma/Adobe) into production-ready templates
Ensure cross-client compatibility, accessibility compliance, and high deliverability standards
Conduct thorough QA to confirm accurate rendering, error-free functionality, and correct population of dynamic fields
Support A/B and multivariate testing initiatives by coding variations and ensuring tracking is in place
Maintain and update component-based template libraries for efficiency and scalability
Collaborate with creative teams to provide feedback on design feasibility and technical requirements
Troubleshoot rendering issues and work with engineering or ESP support teams when necessary
Requirements:
1–3 years of experience coding responsive emails in HTML/CSS, including media queries and table-based layouts
Strong understanding of email best practices: responsive design, accessibility, and deliverability
Experience with ESPs (Iterable preferred) to build, test, and deploy campaigns
Proficiency with QA and rendering tools (e.g., Litmus, Email on Acid)
Hands-on experience with dynamic content, personalization, segmentation, and automation workflows
Familiarity with QA processes and A/B or multivariate testing within ESPs
Proven ability to troubleshoot rendering issues across major clients and devices
Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects in fast-paced environments
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with a track record of accurate, on-time execution
Nutrafol takes into consideration a wide range of factors in final compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. The listed range is applicable only to the annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or applicable bonus eligibility comprising the total compensation package.
Salary Range:
$80,000—$100,000 USD
