Associate Data Analyst

The Role

Modern Health is looking for an Associate Data Analyst to join our Analytics team. The role reports into our Senior Manager of Analytics and will work cross-functionally with our Go To Market teams as a dedicated partner for all things data.

In this role, you will work closely with Client Success and Partnerships to understand the unique needs of each client and consultant, and provide custom reporting to meet those needs. You will provide data from our existing reporting in the packaging they desire, in addition to whipping up custom slices of our data and visualizations using Snowflake and Looker. You will identify trends in client and consultant requests, and proactively pitch those to the team for inclusion in our pre-built reporting platform.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with GTM teams to understand unique client and consultant data requirements, and translate those needs into discrete data requests

• Consolidate existing and custom reporting based on stakeholder needs in a unified format of their asking

• Ensure consistency across custom reports and our self-service reporting platform, prioritizing a cohesive and digestible narrative 

• Conduct data analyses using your skills in SQL and our BI tool, Looker, and translate the results into recommendations

• Simplify our data to allow our Customer Success and Partnerships Managers and our customers and consultants to visualize the complete member journey and understand the value of their investment in Modern Health

• Identify trends in stakeholder requests and flag for future automation and reporting development

• Guarantee the reliability of your work by checking, double checking, and code review

Who You Are

• Prior professional or demonstrable project work in analytics, data science, or a related field

• Proficient in SQL, data analysis, and data visualization

• Experience with Looker or an equivalent BI tool

• Ability to drive execution and demonstrated potential and interest in strategic thinking

• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done

• Solution oriented with a strong sense of ownership and drive

• Demonstrated ability to follow guidance, stay organized, and complete tasks with accuracy and timeliness

• Proven success partnering with and explaining data and analytics concepts to non-technical team members

• High EQ, strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including comfort and experience interfacing with internal leadership

• Passionate about the mental health space

• Humble, scrappy, highly motivated, and thrive in fast-paced environments

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown. Ranges are not necessarily indicative of the associated starting pay range in other locations. Depending on the scope of the role, some ranges are indicative of On Target Earnings (OTE) and includes both base pay and commission at 100% achievement of established targets.
