What We're Looking For

As the ASO Team Lead at Welltech, you will be responsible for developing the ASO strategies across our three core apps (Muscle Booster, Yoga-Go, WalkFit) and driving implementation with the team, collaborating closely with Product Growth to ensure we achieve sustainable organic growth and visibility. Leading a team of two ASO Specialists, you will oversee the analysis of app store performance, identify growth opportunities, and guide optimization initiatives to improve visibility and conversion across app stores. Your leadership will ensure our store presence is both engaging and strategically aligned with our global goals.

✨ Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of two ASO Specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

  • Strategic Ownership: Develop and drive the ASO strategy for our core apps; Muscle Booster, Yoga-Go, WalkFit with implementation support from the ASO team.

  • Revenue Growth: Implement and optimize ASO strategies specifically aimed at increasing subscription conversions and recurring revenue streams.

  • Performance Analysis: Oversee analysis of app store performance, tracking trends in user behavior, competition, and creative best practices.

  • Keyword Optimization: Develop portfolio-wide keyword strategies and guide team implementation, focusing on high-impact keywords and metadata optimization across multiple localizations.

  • Competitor Insights: Monitor competitors’ ASO strategies and translate learnings into actionable opportunities for growth.

  • A/B Testing Oversight: Develop and implement an ASO testing playbook, prioritize tests based on impact potential, and drive data-driven optimization of creative assets and metadata to enhance conversion rates.

  • Event & Promotion Management: Refine the strategy and oversee implementation of in-app events, featuring requests, and seasonal promotions across app stores to maximize visibility and conversion during key promotional windows.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, creative, and paid acquisition teams (ASA and other mobile channels) to ensure cohesive app store presence that maximizes both visibility and paid conversion performance.

  • Localization Strategy: Ensure effective localization of app listings for multiple markets, optimizing for both visibility and relevance.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Present clear, data-driven performance insights and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.

✨ The ideal profile:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in ASO or mobile marketing, including 1+ year in a leadership or mentorship role.

  • Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to develop and drive ASO strategies and playbooks at scale, ideally within health or wellness verticals.

  • Cross-Channel Experience: Proven track record collaborating with ASA and other mobile paid acquisition teams to align organic and paid strategies, optimize keyword targeting, and maximize funnel performance across channels.

  • Subscription App Experience: Proven track record of implementing ASO strategies that directly contributed to revenue growth in subscription-based applications, with demonstrable results in improving conversion rates and subscriber retention.

  • Tool Proficiency: Comfortable using tools such as AppTweak, AppFollow, AppMagic, Sensor Tower, or similar.

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting performance metrics and testing outcomes.

  • Leadership: Strong people management and communication skills, with the ability to support team growth and alignment.

  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English for effective written communication and cross-team collaboration.
