About the Role

As a China App Store Marketing Partnership Specialist at canva, you will play a vital role in driving strategic marketing partnerships and alliances within the app store ecosystem in China. Your primary focus will be on identifying, establishing, and nurturing relationships with key app store partners and industry players to expand canva's presence and accelerate growth in the Chinese market. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop and execute marketing partnership strategies that align with canva's business objectives and drive value for our Chinese customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Partnership Identification and Evaluation: Identify and assess potential partnership opportunities within the app store ecosystem, focusing on industry associations, technology partners, and influencers to enhance canva's market presence.

  • Relationship Development: Develop and maintain robust relationships with key app store partners, negotiating resources that align with canva's strategic objectives and deliver mutual value.

  • Collaboration and implementation: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including brand marketing, brand design and product development, to devise and implement app store partnership strategies and campaigns that support canva's growth initiatives in the Chinese market.

  • App Store Optimization (ASO): Utilize ASO strategies to maximize canva’s visibility and conversion rates within app stores, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals.

  • Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partnership initiatives, leveraging data insights to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.

  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities, providing insights and recommendations to inform partnership strategies

Qualifications

Key Requirements

  • Experience: At least 3+ years in an app store editor role or a related position, or 3+ years of experience in a role that involves close collaboration with app stores, possessing a solid understanding of the Chinese app store landscape and its algorithms.

  • Partnership Expertise: Proven experience in partnership development and management, particularly within the app store or technology sectors.

  • ASO Knowledge: Familiarity with App Store Optimization techniques and best practices.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent relationship-building skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.

  • Negotiation Abilities: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure mutually beneficial agreements.

  • Analytical Mindset: Skilled in analyzing data and insights to enhance campaign performance and improve partnership results.

  • Strategic Vision: Ability to identify opportunities, develop actionable plans, and drive initiatives to achieve desired results.
