Now we’re on the hunt for an Alliances & Vertical Marketing Manager who lives for crafting epic industry stories and co-creating blockbuster campaigns with tech titans like AWS, Google, Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet and Palo Alto.
This is where your knack for translating complex tech into killer narratives meets your passion for partner collaboration. You’ll own vertical-specific go-to-market plays, build co-branded content that cuts through the noise and launch field programs that turbocharge our ecosystem.

What You’ll Be Doing (aka. Your Quest Log)
Alliance Marketing:
Lead joint marketing efforts with key strategic partners including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Networks.
Build and manage co-marketing programs - from shared webinars and digital campaigns to thought leadership, field events, and partner launches.
Develop co-branded content and assets that highlight joint value propositions and customer success.
Manage relationships with partner marketing contacts to ensure alignment, execution, and mutual value.
Work closely with Partner and Alliance Sales teams to align campaigns with joint revenue goals and strategic initiatives.
Vertical Marketing:
Develop and own go-to-market plans for high-value verticals (e.g., AI, Finance, Healthcare, Media, Voice&Video), working across Marketing, Sales, and Product to ensure alignment.
Build vertical-specific messaging frameworks and content that clearly articulate Megaport’s value proposition in each target industry.
Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline within defined verticals and that speak directly to the challenges and priorities of each sector.
Partner with Sales to develop ABM programs for target accounts in the above-mentioned verticals.
Drive utilization of Megaport’s Marketplace to increase interconnections between our vertically aligned exchanges such as the AIx, FSx, VVxIdentify industry events, publications, associations, and influencers that provide strategic opportunities to build Megaport’s brand and reach in key verticals.
Monitor trends, news, and regulations affecting each vertical to ensure messaging stays current and relevant.
Analyze and report on campaign performance and pipeline impact by vertical, using insights to optimize content and strategy continuously.
What We Are Looking For (aka Your Power Ups)
5+ years of B2B marketing experience with at least 2+ years in “on the tools” running campaigns.
Direct experience working with large-scale SaaS/ISV or Cloud Partner Programs, such as AWS, under build, market, and sell growth partner programs.
Strong understanding of how to position and market technology solutions (ideally networking, cloud, or SaaS) in different industries.
Demonstrated ability to create tailored messaging and content strategies that resonate with industry-specific buyer personas.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills - you're able to make complex solutions feel human and relevant.
Hands-on experience running integrated marketing programs and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical mindset - you know how to use data to evaluate campaign performance, understand audience behavior, and make improvements to your campaigns.
Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (ideally Marketo), Salesforce CRM, and project management tools.
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and globally distributed team.
Things held in high regard, but is not required (aka Your Bonuses):
Direct marketing experience in one or more of our key verticals (e.g., finance, healthcare, media).
Knowledge of cloud, networking, or IT infrastructure markets.
Experience using content personalization tools or ABM platforms.
Background working in or marketing to enterprise-level IT audiences
