AI Innovations & Program Director - Global
Position Summary:
The AI Innovation & Program Director at Pax8 will immerse themselves in the latest advancements in Microsoft AI solutions, spearheading revenue growth by championing AI-centric solutions and technical enablement. This role involves crafting and executing global strategic plans, developing go-to-market solutions, and building robust sales and marketing engines with a keen technical perspective. By managing innovative projects and fostering a collaborative team environment that encourages creativity and excellence, the Director will enhance the company's competitive edge. This is done by sharing comprehensive technical expertise of the Microsoft platform, understanding and learning the new AI innovations and tooling, partnership with the Pax8 Microsoft OneCloud program, building go-to market plans, and keeping up with industry trends and innovations. They serve as both an external and an internal customer, ensuring the Microsoft partnership’s success and delivery to stakeholders.
Essential Responsibilities and Percentage of Time Spent (includes, but is not limited to):
Learn, design, develop, and implement go-to-market strategies for AI products and services that drive adoption and growth of AI solutions and Pax8 programs (30%)
Lead and manage AI-driven projects from conception through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals (20%)
Monitor Microsoft workload cloud strategic plans, goals, and results based on the achieved metrics, activations, and engines in motion to support adjustments for optimized vendor performance (15%)
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to promote AI initiatives throughout the company leading with collaboration (15%)
Monitor industry trends and innovations to keep the company at the forefront of AI technology (15%)
Partnership in technical skilling efforts, aligning sales and organizational objectives with Microsoft’s AI solutions with knowledge in tooling such as Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and new innovations (5%)
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
At least five (5) years of experience in Microsoft Sales, preferably IT Channel Sales
At least four (4) years of experience in a technical sales or engineering role
At least two (2) years of experience in technical strategic planning and support
At least two (2) years of experience in account management, with quote-to-cash process experience
Proficient in Microsoft cloud products and AI tools, with a strong ability to learn new and emerging technologies - knowledge of Microsoft Studios is a plus
SaaS product experience – selling, handling, processing
Knowledge and deep technical understanding of Microsoft Partner ecosystem (Cloud, Products and Offerings)
Proven business acumen and the ability to be socially aware of others’ personal drivers
Knowledge and understanding of how the Sales Channel works
Knowledge and understanding of sales strategies (e.g., how to set up a sales floor)
Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Partner Network
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to facilitate meetings, technical intensity trainings, and presentations
High level of organizational skills
High level of project management skills
Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
Ability to operate effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear
Ability to actively learn through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both success and failures as learning fodder
Ability to anticipate and adopt innovations in business-building digital and technology applications
Required Education & Certifications:
A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $145,000 to $180,000 or more depending on experience.
