Agile Delivery Manager
About Vonage: Vonage is a global cloud communications business that offers flexible and scalable voice, messaging, video and data capabilities across Unified Communications, Contact Centres and Communications APIs. Our mission is to drive efficiencies and build synergy across engineering, product and customer support to make customer and employees experience outstanding.
By joining Vonage’s Lean Agile Centre of Excellence, you’ll have an opportunity to shape the future of customer engagement by supporting our engineering and product teams to deliver a truly immersive platform experience.
Why this role matters
We are seeking a dynamic and pragmatic Agile Delivery Manager to join our diverse global team. As a Agile Delivery Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Agile transformation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about Agile and eager to take the next step in their career supported by an experienced Agile team.
Vonage is entering an exciting new chapter, focused on consolidating and aligning a business that has grown and diversified through acquisition. This role will be part of the Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) at Vonage. The LACE are implementing Agile at Scale across the business to help align our teams and maximize the value they deliver. This role is a chance to get real experience of driving agile transformation you won’t get from training or certification.
What you will do
With the support of the LACE team you will lead and drive delivery excellence though Agile transformation across Vonage. Your role will focus specifically on introducing a strong enable delivery flow and drive Agile culture within one or more teams, and you will also have the opportunity to assist the Release Train Engineers with running of SAFe events.
Core responsibilities
Train, mentor, and support teams to introduce and follow agile values, principles, and practices.
Use a data driven approach to help teams monitor their performance and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Encourage open communication and active participation within and between teams.
Identify and address impediments that could hinder the team's progress or productivity. Collaborate to find solutions and eliminate obstacles.
Foster effective communication between team members and stakeholders. Ensure information flows smoothly and that everyone is aligned with the team’s goals and priorities.
Support the Release Train Engineers with planning for and running SAFe events such as PI planning.
What you will bring
The ideal candidate must be committed to genuine Agile principles, ensuring that Scrum practices are truly effective and not just followed superficially. We are not looking for a 'fluffy' Agile Delivery Manager who runs 'Zombie Scrum.' They should actively engage teams in meaningful Agile practices that drive real value and continuous improvement.
A positive, pragmatic mindset is essential. You’re someone who can share real examples of outcome-driven delivery, creative problem solving, and resilience in the face of setbacks.
Due to the international nature of the team and the business, experience working in a multicultural setting would be beneficial.
What is required for application
Previous experience working as a Agile Delivery Manager / Scrum Master
Practical experience with SAFe
Strong hands-on experience with Jira (essential)
Familiarity with Confluence
Proven coaching and facilitation skills, with examples of workshops, training sessions, or 1:1s you’ve run
What is in it for you
Unlimited Discretionary Time Off
Pension scheme
Ericsson support line
Private Medical Insurance with the option to add dependents at your own cost
Kafeteria ( i.e. Multisport Gym Membership)
Educational Assistance Reimbursement Program
Polish Language Classes for non-native speakers
