Overview

Recharge is building the future of subscription commerce and our agency partners are core to that vision. We’re looking for a Senior Partner Manager to lead strategic growth with our top-tier agency partners in the Shopify ecosystem, while identifying and accelerating high-potential newcomers. This is a highly cross-functional, entrepreneurial role that is part partner strategist, part operator and ideal for someone who deeply understands how agencies and merchants grow together.

Whether you’ve been a Customer Success Manager, worked at an ecommerce brand, or led agency growth strategy, you know what it takes to create long-term value for merchants and partners alike. You’ll be a driving force behind joint go-to-market efforts, co-selling motions, and the next wave of innovation in our partner ecosystem.

What you'll do

  • Own and expand strategic partnerships with Recharge’s Elite and Premier Shopify agencies, with a focus on pipeline and revenue generation, enablement, and long-term growth.

  • Identify, cultivate, and accelerate high-potential emerging partners who are solving complex merchant challenges in innovative ways, positioning them for future inclusion in the Elite or Premier tier.

  • Drive joint GTM execution from co-selling and co-marketing to product enablement and merchant onboarding in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Enablement.

  • Develop and implement Partner Business Plans that are supported by data, to optimize success with a partner at every stage of the partner's lifecycle.

  • Serve as a trusted growth advisor to partners, offering merchant and market insights, product strategy alignment, and joint business planning support.

  • Lead joint business planning efforts with Elite and Premier partners, aligning on revenue goals, co-marketing opportunities, training needs, and product adoption strategies.

  • Surface opportunities for joint innovation, including solution packaging, vertical-focused campaigns, or use-case development with agency builders.

  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to your partners by understanding their business goals and ensuring Recharge is positioned as a key growth driver;  Contribute to the creation and deployment of partner playbooks and incentive models that align goals of Recharge with partners

  • Maintain a metrics-driven approach to partner performance, using Salesforce and other tools to report on sourced pipeline, partner health, and engagement levels.

What you’ll bring

  • Strategic Relationship Management: Proven ability to develop and deepen high-value relationships with senior stakeholders at Elite and Premier agencies, focusing on long-term value and mutual success.

  • Market Insight: Strong understanding of the ecommerce ecosystem (especially Shopify) and ability to spot early signals of emerging partners solving critical merchant problems.

  • Business Acumen: Experience working in a revenue-driven environment with the ability to translate partner activities into tangible business outcomes.

  • AI-fluency:  You naturally incorporate AI tools (ChatGPT, Notion, or automation platforms) to streamline workflows, generate insights, create content,  personalize partner outreach, and scale programs without sacrificing quality or impact

  • Product Curiosity: A natural curiosity and willingness to dive deep into the technical aspects of the product to better understand and communicate capabilities. Confident working through product documentation, exploring use cases, and partnering with internal teams to solve complex merchant scenarios.

  • Process & Program Leadership: Skilled in building and executing scalable partner management programs, with an eye toward automation, repeatability, and performance tracking.

  • Proactive Ownership: Self-motivated and accountable, capable of independently managing complex initiatives and seeing them through to execution.

  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with data to identify trends, measure performance, and inform strategic decisions.

  • Agility & Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and can pivot quickly as priorities shift.

Compensation 

Recharge’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. Salary ranges are designed to be competitive and aligned with country specific practices, while individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, and experience. The compensation listed is not inclusive of any equity and benefits that might exist in your total compensation package.

  • Hiring range in the US OTE $ 160,000 - $200,000 USD

  • Hiring range in Canada OTE $ 152,000 - $190,000 CAD
