LaSalle Network is partnering with a healthcare company based in Chicago looking for a Remote Accounting Manager that has clear experience in building out new processes, managing/developing a team and SOX controls. This organization has experienced substantial growth and offers the unique opportunity to work directly with its leadership team (Controller and CAO) on all strategic projects and future expansion. This role offers a competitive base salary up to $125,000 with bonus potential. This opportunity will be 100% remote.

The ideal candidate is an accounting leader with prior management experience at a large (10,000+ employees), publicly traded company looking for an opportunity with flexibility and to manage a large team.

This position will manage month end close process, assist with all audit activities, oversee AP accounting functions and manage/create SOPs within department.

Remote Accounting Manager Responsibilities Overview

• Manage staff of 7 transactional AP/AR team members
• Involved in core month end close functions such as reconciliations, posting entries, disbursements, accruals, fixed assets, reporting, etc.
• SOX compliance and internal controls implementation
• Coordinate and lead internal and external audit processes
• Develop staff and build out SOPs for growing accounting department
  
  

Remote Accounting Manager Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• CPA preferred
• Experience working with large, publicly traded companies (SOX experience required)
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Management experience required
• Strong GAAP knowledge
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact in a fast-paced environment
