Accounting Analyst
The Corporate Accounting team is responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial reports, maintaining accounting policies and ensuring compliance across the company, building the best-in-class month-end processes, all while partnering with teams across the company. As a member of the team, you’ll play a vital role in designing and maintaining scalable procedures, policies and internal controls to ensure compliance with US GAAP and other laws/regulations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, highly analytical individual who can work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you'll do at Figma:
Perform month-end close activities including account reconciliations for cash, prepaids, fixed assets, AP, travel & expense, intangibles, goodwill, and consolidations
Help identify, drive, and implement process improvements while documenting new and existing processes
Prepare monthly/quarterly flux analysis and reporting packages
Respond to audit requests for related areas
Support system implementations, development of new processes, and creation of new recons, etc.
Assist in SOX implementation/execution
Partner with other internal and external contacts at all levels
Other ad hoc projects as needed
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
BS Degree in Finance/Accounting
3+ years of accounting experience
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
Experience with Netsuite or equivalent ERP
Experience building cross-functional relationships and communicating with stakeholders across all levels and functions
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
2+ years of experience working in a high-growth SaaS company
2+ years of experience working in public accounting
Demonstrated experience researching and understanding complex accounting issues
Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets
Demonstrated strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Experience with Zip, Expensify, Navan and/or similar accounting software
A CPA (or are currently a CPA candidate)

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.
