Account Specialist - Customer Service Operations

Pay Range: $19.00 - $24.00 USD hourly

What to Expect:

Hours: 8a – 500p (Eastern Time)
The Labcorp Employer Services division is seeking an Account Specialist in the Customer Operations Department. The primary purpose of this position will be to set up new accounts, make account modifications, set up user IDs in Labcorp Solutions, create destination IDs for Web Services, and assist with large projects related to assigned clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sets up new accounts and make account modifications for assigned clients
Accurately places supply orders for customers
Meets deadlines
Assists the team with large projects
Sets up user IDs in LCS and create destination IDs for Web Services
Requests pricing approvals
Generates reports to perform mass updates
Assists with any task that is needed
Minimum Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED
2 years of applicable customer service experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic), required
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree or higher
3 – 5 years of Customer service experience in occupational drug testing
Healthcare industry knowledge
Experience with the following systems:
Labcorp Lab System (LCLS_
Labcorp Testing System (LCTS)
Labcorp Solutions
Skills and Competencies
Exceptional organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to focus on the client, understanding their message, reflecting on what is being said, and responding thoughtfully.
Detail oriented
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively navigate the organization and identify appropriate points of contact for various inquiries and processes. Support will be available to assist with identifying key stakeholders and resources as needed.
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Keen multi-tasking ability
Adaptable and willing to learn new skills and technologies
