Who you are

You're an entrepreneurial enterprise software sales professional who thrives in early-stage environments and is energized by building something from the ground up. You have a track record of successfully closing complex, high-value deals and aren't afraid to own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Proven experience selling enterprise software solutions, particularly those requiring significant organizational change or integration

- Strong relationship-building skills and a natural ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels, as well as the ability to build consensus across a large organization

- The ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to diverse audiences

- A self-starter mentality with excellent organizational skills and follow-through

- Experience in or strong familiarity with the mortgage industry is a plus, but not required

- Most importantly, you're someone who combines deep sales expertise with genuine curiosity about our customers' challenges and a collaborative approach to finding solutions.

About your role

As one of our first sales hires, you'll play a crucial role in scaling Vesta's go-to-market motion and establishing our sales playbook. You'll work directly with our CEO to learn our proven sales approach and then make it your own.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning the full sales cycle for enterprise mortgage lenders, from initial outreach through closing

  • Building and maintaining relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners

  • Conducting detailed discovery calls and product demos

  • Developing and documenting repeatable sales processes that can scale with our growing team

  • Contributing strategic insights to help shape our product roadmap based on customer feedback

  • Representing Vesta at industry conferences and events

This role offers a unique opportunity to not just join an early-stage startup, but to potentially grow into a sales leadership position as we scale. You'll work directly with the founding team and have significant influence on how we build and grow our sales organization.

The OTE compensation range for this role is $200,000 - $300,000/year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
