Account Executive - SMB

Apollo.io is looking for a high-energy, results-driven SMB Account Executive to help small businesses (1-200 employees) grow with our all-in-one Sales platform. In this role, you'll be the main point of contact for inbound leads, guiding founders, sales leaders, and RevOps teams through their evaluation and helping them scale their pipeline generation strategy.
What You’ll Do
🔥 Own & Close Deals
Manage the entire sales process—from discovery to close—within a 30-day deal cycle.
Drive new business revenue by converting inbound leads into long-term customers.
Handle 5+ meetings per day (25+ per week) and maintain 3x pipeline coverage.
Exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
🎯 Sales Execution & Strategy
Run consultative discovery calls, uncover customer needs, and connect them to Apollo.io’s value.
Engage with Director+ level buyers in Sales, Marketing, and RevOps.
Keep a clean, accurate pipeline and forecast revenue within 10% margin.
Confidently handle objections and position Apollo.io against competitors.

What We’re Looking For
✅ 1+ years of experience in high-volume inbound sales (5+ meetings/day). ✅ 1+ years of closing experience (SaaS preferred). ✅ Proven top performer—hitting quota for at least 3 consecutive quarters. ✅ Strong consultative sales skills—ability to lead discovery and influence key stakeholders. ✅ C1 English level—confident in presenting and closing deals.
