Account Executive - MENA Defense & Intelligence
About the Role:
We're looking for a talented Account Executive (AE), who will be responsible for prospecting and closing new Defense and Intelligence business within the Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA) Region. The AE will identify, nurture and close opportunities with both new and existing Defense and Intelligence customers, manage forecasts and track customer data. The AE will work cooperatively with internal departments to improve the velocity of business and to create solutions that serve the best interests of our customers at Planet Labs.

This is a full-time, remote position preferably located in Qatar or the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Impact You’ll Own:
Prospect, develop, and close a continuous pipeline of opportunities
Maintain account and opportunity information in Salesforce.com
Forecast business and sales pipeline as required by management
Up and cross-sell opportunities, probe for additional contacts with projects/opportunities
Achieve and surpass all stated goals for the position
Work with Marketing to conduct seminars, assist with trade shows, and other marketing related events
What You Bring:
2+ years of experience in closing sales
Relevant experience in the Defense and/or Intelligence industry
Experience coordinating small to medium transactions
Experience working within a quota and commission structure
Fluency in English and Arabic
Experience using Salesforce.com
Experience overachieving sales goals
Ability to work in a dynamic environment
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to be self-motivated and have a results-oriented approach
Bachelor’s degree
What Makes You Stand Out:
Understanding of ISR, GEOINT, remote sensing, or airborne imaging
Previous vertical selling to defense or national security-focused ministries or agencies
Experience overachieving quota within a B2B or B2C sales company
Experience with AI/ML/CV analytic services for the Defense and Intelligence industry
MENA account management experience with an established network
Experience attending industry conferences such as IDEX, World Defense Show, DIMDEX, etc.
Knowledge of Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and email automation tools
