About The Role:
Apollo.io, the leading go-to-market solution for revenue teams, is launching an innovative, done-for-you AI-enabled pipeline generation service. This new offering is designed to create, manage, test and scale outbound campaigns for our clients, maximizing outbound conversion rates through well-researched and personalized sales campaigns that book qualified sales meetings that close. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to drive new customer acquisitions and play a pivotal role in this new venture.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and harden sales process
Establish baseline percentages and metrics for sales stages
Establish then Exceed win rate %’s from SQL to Closed Won (estimate 15% start)
Exceed quota by managing a pipeline of ~30 net new opportunities per month
Execute a personalized sales journey from a strategic blend of inbound and outbound leads to generate and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Cultivate expansion revenue growth within closed-won accounts, initiating within 90 days of initial closure.
Develop and execute personalized outbound sales campaigns using AI-driven insights to optimize conversion rates.
Provide detailed handoffs to Sales Development Managers, ensuring a seamless transition and ongoing client satisfaction.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate CRM records, ensuring clean forecasting and pipeline management.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Demonstrate and effectively communicate the value of complex software platforms to prospective clients through sales demos.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of B2B software sales experience, specifically selling into Sales and Marketing departments.
Proven expertise in top-of-funnel and outbound sales best practices
Startup/entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in a rapidly evolving environment
Experience managing a high-volume pipeline + carrying a quota >$1M annually
Demonstrated success in outbound sales campaigns as a top-performing SDR, Business Development Manager, or Director of Business Development.
Familiarity with Apollo.io or similar platforms (contact data, outreach platforms, intent data, and Generative AI tools).
Strong sales demo experience simplifying – showing the value of complex software platforms.
Ability to sell to mid-market to enterprise clients, including multi-national organizations
Strong consultative sales approach with a focus on customer success and detailed campaign management.
