Sr. Strategic Partner Manager - Content
This role will manage creator communities and lead content strategy across Pinterest’s Emerging Verticals in the US and Canada (including education, travel, and event planning). This person will engage directly with content suppliers in these verticals, providing education and best practices for them to be successful on Pinterest, and facilitating connections between like-minded creators. This person will also be the content expert of these verticals on Pinterest, analyzing key success metrics, tracking changes in engagement, and representing the content ecosystem to internal partners. The role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, skills in program management, analysis and content strategy, an understanding of platforms and creator ecosystems, and more.
What you’ll do:
Engage with content suppliers in Pinterest’s emerging verticals in the US and Canada, empowering them to create high quality content on the platform
Manage an online community (or communities) organized by vertical, providing platform education, best practices, strategic guidance, and product updates
Advocate for the ecosystem of content producers within that vertical, identifying the nuances and opportunities specific to the space
Innovate and ideate on programs that drive local content supply and engagement in alignment with vertical strategy
Be the content expert of your vertical, analyzing and tracking key success metrics and synthesizing your findings into actionable insights and recommendations to drive incremental growth
Independently leverage data-driven insights and on/off platform trends to inform content strategies and deliver business and partner impact
Proactively resolve business issues impacting creators
What we’re looking for:
8+ years of experience in the creator/community/media partnerships space
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience proactively building strategies, implementing process and executing on vision
Exhibits a strong data-driven mindset, using analytics to guide strategy, identify opportunities and support recommendations
Experience and passion for independently presenting and educating Creators across diverse forums (in person, virtually, etc.)
Demonstrated skill in navigating ambiguity and driving results and outcomes amidst uncertainty
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, PR, Social, Sales & Editorial teams
A champion of belonging who demonstrates sensitivity to differences, value diverse perspectives, and collaborates effectively with content partners and colleagues of varying backgrounds and viewpoints
Comfort and ability to clearly articulate a vision directly with creator communities, internal and external senior leadership
Experience and interest in managing partnerships across Entertainment, Art, Travel, and Education industries a plus
Previous experience in the sales, partner management, art, entertainment, education, and/or travel content and/or influencer space a plus
