If you are passionate about transforming the internet and contributing to cutting-edge innovations, come join us at Gcore! We are over 550 professionals and currently looking for a Procurement Lead. The Procurement Lead is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement and contract lifecycle for connectivity and data center services. This includes sourcing, supplier onboarding, contract negotiation, execution, and performance management. The role is hands-on and delivery-focused, with an emphasis on operational excellence, timely contract renewals, cost control, and supplier compliance. The Procurement Lead also supports category strategies and leads a small team in ensuring reliable and efficient procurement operations aligned with business needs.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Contract & Supplier Management

  • Own the full contract lifecycle: from market engagement and negotiation through execution, supplier onboarding, and performance tracking.

  • Ensure timely renewals, renegotiations, and proactive contract management to avoid service disruptions.

  • Drive contract compliance, enforce service-level agreements (SLAs), and implement corrective actions where necessary.

  • Maintain a contract calendar, ensuring timely action on renewals, extensions, and savings opportunities.

Tactical & Operational Procurement Execution

  • Manage and oversee sourcing activities including RFx preparation, supplier evaluation, and award recommendations.

  • Lead supplier onboarding processes and coordinate with internal stakeholders to enable timely service implementation.

  • Ensure procurement transactions are compliant with internal policies and documented properly.

  • Support and coordinate the operational workload of the procurement team, prioritizing business-critical tasks.

Cost Control & Savings Delivery

  • Track, validate, and report on cost savings achieved through contract renegotiations and sourcing efforts.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) without compromising service quality or timelines.

Cross-functional Alignment & Process Improvement

  • Work closely with legal, finance, operations, and technical teams to align procurement activities with business and regulatory requirements.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance procurement cycle time, visibility, and efficiency.

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of sourcing strategies for key service categories.

  • Develop, implement and track Procurement KPIs.

Team Leadership

  • Provide day-to-day guidance to the procurement team, ensuring high performance and professional development.

Act as an escalation point for supplier or contractual issues impacting delivery timelines or budgets.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of procurement and contract management experience, ideally within telecom, data center, or IT services.

  • Strong track record of owning and executing the full procurement cycle—from sourcing through to supplier performance.

  • Proficiency in contract negotiation, administration, and supplier performance management.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment.

  • Experience leading or mentoring small procurement teams.

  • Skilled in using procurement systems and tools for contract tracking, analysis, and reporting.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; English fluency required.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field (advanced degree or certifications a plus).
