At Xplor, we believe that helping people make the most of each day is the most rewarding way to spend ours.

We give small and medium-sized businesses cloud-based, intuitive technology solutions that enable them to manage all the hassles of running and growing a business, so business owners can get back to doing what they love. With Xplor Pay, we help businesses get paid quickly and securely – without hidden fees. We built the tech ourselves, and our platform delivers secure, transparent, fast, and accurate payments.

We are unified by our purpose of helping people to succeed. So, when you become part of our team, you also become part of the personal connection that strengthens the relationship people have with Xplor products.

Job Description

About the opportunity You’ll join the Salesforce team within the Global Technology team — the team that provides expertise and support to our various business verticals. More specifically, you will play an important role in leveraging Salesforce to enable these business verticals to support our customers and achieve business KPIs. Reporting into the Manager of Applications - Engineering, you'll play a key role in driving business efficiency by leveraging Salesforce products. Your responsibilities will include gathering user requirements and feedback, managing the incident queue, and supporting platform enhancements. As our team places strong emphasis on user experience, you’ll be responsible for handling support tickets, delivering user training, and developing solutions that prioritise satisfaction and usability.

Some other responsibilities include:

  • Triaging support tickets submitted by users, completing them or escalating to senior admins

  • Fulfilling business as usual type requests like user creation, permission and queue assignment or data management

  • Identifying and gathering requirements from users and stakeholders with help from Revenue Operations Business Analysts

  • Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports, sharing rules

  • Documentation of training materials

  • Testing deployments before they are released

This is a fully remote role, available to candidates who are based in the UK and have full legal working rights to work in the UK.

Qualifications

What would make me a good candidate?

We are looking for curious and empathetic people. We also love to hear from people who are motivated by meaningful work, resonate with our four core values, have a positive outlook, are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive working in an ever-evolving and complex environment. We are inspired by meeting big picture thinkers and doers, people who can be both tactical and strategic, aim high and put people first in everything they do. We’re looking for a proactive team player who’s passionate about continuously improving and enhancing our Salesforce platform, with a strong desire to learn and grow. We’re also seeking someone who has:

  • Salesforce product knowledge and at least 1 year of hands-on experience as an administrator, delegated administrator or power user

  • Experience working with tickets on a help desk or customer support team

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator

  • Trailhead Superbadges and Trailhead Ranger

  • Active in the Salesforce Community (Trailblazer or others like the Ohana slack, Facebook groups etc.)

  • Available and responsive to questions from users and the team

  • Requirement gathering and note taking skills

  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels

  • Training and training material creation skills

  • Understanding of the Salesforce security model and staying up to date with upcoming changes to it

  • Salesforce configuration knowledge around fields, page layouts, lightning app builder, record types, out of the box automation tooling like lead/case assignment rules, case escalation rules, entitlement processes, reports and dashboards

At Xplor, we believe that the best innovation and ideas happen at the intersections of our differences - people of diverse cultures, generations, disciplines, and lived experiences. So even if you think you do not tick all the boxes, we still encourage you to apply.
